Our Story
Michael Cetrulo started his cooking career at just 13 years old with his father on the weekends. What started a food prep and dish washing in exchange for a small weekly allowance, quickly blossomed into Michael's passion and career. At 17, he became a line cook at an upscale Italian restaurant in New Jersey. Michael continued working his way up to sous chef at one of the top restaurants in New Jersey called il Tulipano.
Today, Michael heads Scalini Fedeli in both the Chatham and New York locations, and now has opened the newest location of Scalini Fedeli in Montville, NJ. Owning his own restaurants has allowed Michael to curate his own creative and upscale Italian Fare and create wonderful spaces for guests to enjoy.
